PLAYER OF THE GAME | Natalie Hodgkiss - Choteau Bulldogs Volleyball

Another impromptu trip up to Choteau was another tour stop that was well worth it!
Sometimes during the season there’s a week or 2 where I just wing it and see what’s out there, and Class B Volleyball was where it was at TONIGHT! 
The Fort Benton Longhorns and the Choteau Bulldogs for the top spot in the conference!
This matchup went the distance just like a lot of people expected. 5 sets in a classic back and forth fashion between two rivals. 
Choteau took the first 25-18 but Fort Benton responded 25-23. The Bulldogs claimed the 3rd 25-20 and then the Longhorns got the 4th in the biggest point difference of the night, 25-16. 
That set the stage for the winner take all, first to 15, and neither squad would go quietly. 
Tied up at just about every point, 10-7 Choteau was the biggest lead they had in the 5th. The Bulldogs finally hit the shots they needed and finished the contest 15-12 to take it 3-2!
A very happy Homecoming for the Maroon and Gold and one reason they were able to take down Fort Benton in 5 was thanks to number 5.

The 5’9” senior finished the night with 3 Aces and 8 Kills, including some crucial ones in that 5th set!
She was all over the court and helped the team in every way should could it counted!
Down at times, but NEVER out. The Choteau Bulldogs are now the TOP dogs in Class B.
Congratulations Ladies and congratulations Natalie! Your Player of the Game!
